perfect angles and perspective. i love your technique of using areas of intense reds against the more muted colors. it gives areas of emphasis and a richness to your paintings. i should try something like that in my own paintings. i think you captured the light perfectly as well.
i was wondering though- could you capture the same realism of light and shadow in an imagined scene? youre probably not even interested in work like that, but it was just a thought..
The last 3 paintings are quite impressive, especially in relation to each other. *Light* is the the star of the show in all of them. They all have a distinctive mood but this one is most inviting to me. I feel very safe looking at it, it embodies all the comforts of "home". Soft sunny lighting, the idea of waiting for a loved one to return home, even the table lamp reminds me of one my grandparents had in their home.
